What it’s about

Cadogan paints individual trees, from ancient oaks to old orchard pears and unnamed local trees, as both portraits and memorials. Compton Verney says the show at its gallery links to the trees being lost across Warwickshire, particularly to big infrastructure projects such as HS2, which runs through the county. It’s a touring exhibition, sponsored by the jeweller Pragnell.
