What the neighbourhood police team is focusing on
The Stratford Town safer neighbourhood team’s current priorities, set from 1 October, are drug dealing and drug use in a hotspot location, retail theft, and burglary and vehicle crime. You can follow the team on Facebook. Report crime online or on 101, and always call 999 in an emergency.
Reading the figures
These are crimes recorded by Warwickshire Police within the Stratford Town neighbourhood, not convictions. As a tourist town, Stratford’s figures include crimes involving visitors, and single months go up and down, which is why we compare each month with the same month a year earlier and look at the 12-month trend. The police haven’t published an explanation for August’s rise.
