Discover Stratford’s Darker Side on the Stratford-upon-Avon Ghost Walk

Step into Stratford’s shadowy past with the Stratford Ghost Walk in Stratford-upon-Avon, an award-winning evening tour that brings the town’s most chilling tales vividly to life.

What to Expect

Led by a costumed, ghostly guide – a professional entertainer with a flair for old-fashioned storytelling – this traditional ghost walk trades cheap jump scares for atmosphere, suspense and richly told tales.

Winding through the ‘haunted’ streets and passageways around Shrieves Walk on Sheep Street, you’ll pause outside ancient, creaking buildings to hear sinister stories of ghosts, witches, murder and misery linked to real historic locations. Each guide has their own style, so no two walks feel exactly the same, but all lean into Stratford’s darker side: eerie sightings, unexplained happenings and tragic events from centuries gone by.

Your ticket doesn’t end with the final story either. You’ll also receive exclusive discounts at selected shops, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and attractions in Stratford-upon-Avon – perfect for a pre-walk meal or a post-walk debrief over a drink as you decide which tale unsettled you the most.
